Kim Tok Hun, premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message on October 4 to Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalai on his appointment as prime minister of the Syrian Arab Republic.

 Expressing belief that the traditional bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation would develop more vigorously by the joint efforts, the message wished the prime minister success in the work for rehabilitating the economy and stabilizing the people's living.
