In July Juche 102 (2013), the 3rd National Conference of War Veterans took place with splendour in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
What drew the public attention was that the war veterans attending the conference were wearing the same uniforms as those they had worn in wartime.
It had a following story.
One day when the respected Comrade
Kim Jong Un gave valuable instructions on the celebrations of the V-day, he said that the same uniforms as those the war veterans taking part in the celebrations of the victory day had worn in wartime should be made for them so that they could attend the celebrations in those uniforms, and if so, the events would be more spectacular.
The officials were deeply moved by his meticulous concern for the war veterans who had accomplished brilliant feats for the country.
